Just had a phone call from a friend down here who advised that a long time friend of his, oldrodder (Clark), had passed away due to a recent fall. I only met him recently at Deuce Day along with a few other rodders on a recent trip over there. He recently sold his 32 roadster via the classifieds. Not a prolific HAMBER, however a great loss to his family. My condolences.

Sad to see that, I knew I hadn't seen one of his posts for a while.

  9. Had to good fortune to meet Clarke some 10 yrs ago on one of his cross-country jaunts to attend Deuce Days in Victoria...........he was a hotrodder and race fan thru & thru, built his own cars/engines and never hesitated to set out from North Carolina in his hiboy.........seems he slipped on an icy street and banged his head, immediate brain surgery followed by a massive stroke, leaving him totally unresponsive..........accordingly his wife & family made the difficult decision to unplug his life support...........we kept connected via emails other than his West Coast trips, always a great guy to hook up with.............I will miss him and wish his family our deepest condolences............
