sounds like a life well lived. this is from a post from 2016 when he was still a young man of 83.

Peggy & I have traveled on 85,000 miles across this country & border to border & Canada in the 32 roadster. we have had a wonderful life hunting, fishing & touring in our classic cars. In Dec we will celebrate being married 45 years.

Back in 2022 I sold a flathead timing cover to Bob. I initially listed it for $15.00 but forgot I later lowered the price to 10 bucks. Bob contacted me and he paid the initial price of $15.00. After I got his check for payment I realized that he over paid. I immediately contacted him about the overpayment and he told me to keep it as a tip. Told him no way and sent him a check for the $5.00 overcharge. This led to several PM's about life and one about going to a birthday dinner with his wife Peggy. All in all a real standup guy. Wish I could have had the chance to meet him in person. May he RIP and God speed. Condolences to Peggy and his family.

  24. So sorry to hear this. Bob was such a cool dude. I talked to him for about an hour, when I met him. He had this, leather "BULLSHIT" guard, he would put over his ear. Funny as hell. Gonna miss him. RIP Buddy....
