Have no idea what it came out of, but I like it. Art-deco at it's best.

Hi. Back in the day nearly all heaters were Dealer install items so that one you have could have been used by dealers of many different brand cars.
I have a round front one in my 45 Chevy Coupe that has similar looking emblem like the one on yours down the front & could be the same brand. Would have to wait till after daylight to go look to see. Mine has defrost that is operated by a small lever in the front.
But I notice from you pics that the water lines are spaced far apart while on mine they are both near top center & about 2" apart & they do not go thru the firewall in the factory knockouts.
Sometime soon when I get my Vintage Air unit installed I will have my heater for sale. For now I need it for the defrost/defog when it rains & I have the windows up.

is that a gas fired unit? looks like a small line near the top

  5. It looks big, may have been intended for truck or bus use in Canada eh'.

  6. Just compare that heater to the grille front of a 1937 or 1938 Oldsmobile. ( google images )
