Hello, Hoping some New England Hot Rodder will recognize this car and perhaps be able to put me in touch with the owner. I have some hard to find parts they may need for their car. I noticed this neat car parked near the swap area at the Orange Drag Reunion Show at Sterling M***achussetts Airport recently. I didn't have a chance to speak with the owner at the show but took the four snaps here. From looking at early brochures it would appear to be a 1937 Buick Century Series 60 four p***enger (rear opera seats) five window coupe body type No. 66S. The car appeared to be in its very weathered original dark paint. This model had dual covered spare wheels, one on each fenderwell. The car I saw had I think an incorrect for the year drivers side cover and was missing the p***enger side cover altogether. I am hoping to contact the owner or someone who knows the owner, and p*** on that I had recently found a near complete set of 1937 model year correct covers, and want to know if they would have interest. Note that the covers comprise several pieces per side. There is the fender-like part, a front cover, and a two piece inside cover. I have the two fenders, the two front covers, and one two-piece inner cover. Last image is from a 1937 Buick Brochure for reference. Please PM me if you have contact info. thanks, Nathan
Hey Model B, here is a '38, notice the tail light lens area is larger. Pretty sure this is a '37 however it's hard to know definitively at this point. I'm going to keep posting on different sites until hopefully I find the owner.
Okay fitty_2, agree with you on the tail lights but check out your two brochure pics '38 has less, but thicker grill bars than the '37. So is it a '38 with '37 tail lights or a '37 with '38 grill ? Hope the owner gets in touch.
