I'm late to the thread but when I was a teenager around 1970, primer spots on a car was a sign that it was a work in progress (that's a good thing)

What does MM mean?

 

In the world of tractors, " M M " stands for "Minneapolis - Moline"

I am familiar with Minneapolis-Moline, but I had never heard the called M M in this part of the country they are known as Minne-Mos.
