Patrick2965 with y'all!

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by patrick2965, Jul 16, 2007.

  1. I've read about this "place" for a while, and wondered what it was. Since then, my friend's roadster found him, my 29 Tudor project has been coming to shape more, my rotting 65 Chevy stepside has been inspected by the bluelight group, yet again. (Kinda funny how stereo pipes and tires get attention)
I take part of my poison from seeing Hot Rod Magazine in the elementary school library, seeing the Mongoose or Big Daddy pictures, my uncle's original Revell Stone, Woods, and Cook 41 Willys coupe kit, and more model kits.
My Dad worked as a machinist to buy the farm land, which led to the orchard equipment business we both worked together on. Learned the basics of fab work.
No club. Turbos and Rust are friends accomplishments. Building the 29 Tudor as a mostly trad rod, split bones, 327x3/2x5spdx4.11, very little 1-800. Dirt car, drag car, real hot rod influence. As of yet, only billet STEEL, is the top of the homemade steering column.
Thanks to the guys that have helped me with 29, and the ones that got me there in the first place.

Alright Pat, now get yourass back to work on the model A.

  4. The Model A is currently being steam preserved. Waiting on time and temperature. The Mann boys are on block machine work, 66 on bringing in gauges, Turbos on line for metalwork on body.
I have asked this of turdytoo, is there a quick answer for a water neck on an old SBC Edelbrock 3 Rochester manifold that will clear the boss on the front carb lower? 60 Vette with fuel injection? Bulb over thermostat clearence problem. Ideas, part numbers?
