I know a lot has been written on this site about Patrick ****s, both good and bad. I had problems with this man as well. I just read that he p***ed. Maybe he is better off. R.I.P. Warren
I dealt with him before things seemed to go south and he was super helpful. I got my stuff in a timely manner plus he threw in some free stuff to help me out with the exchange rate. It was sad to see the business go from a well respected one to what it was at the end. R.I.P.

I got a lot of stuff from Patrick and never had a problem. I was surprised at one point that he remembered me after no buying anything for a couple of years. I'm sad that others didn't have the good experience I had and I'm sad that he is gone. A lot of Chevy and Jimmy six knowledge went with him.
Sad....I used to drive past Corbett, Oregon on I-84 before he moved east. I was always going to stop to see him and his business but always in a hurry. Now I regret not taking time.
Sad to see that he p***ed but may he rest in peace. We probably never know the exact reasons that his service business wise went to pot but it could have been because of his health, or it could have been with not growing with the volume of business he seemed to get. Not only here but elsewhere it seemed that they may not have been willing to hire enough help to keep up with orders or that they were on a cash basis with suppliers and weren't able to stock the volume of certain pieces like the 3.5 ring and pinions. That is only speculation though.
I started buying flathead Ford parts from Patrick back in the early '90s, and was always treated great. No problems or issues of any kind. I once paid a visit to his AZ business during a break while I was temporarily working in the area, and was given full access to the entire complex, and was treated to lunch. He was really more into 6 cyl. '47-'54 Chevy/GMC trucks, and had few dozen or so in a fenced in area next to the shop. IIRC, he was building or starting to build complete turn-key trucks, and had already designed and was selling a Muncie or Saginaw 4-speed conversion for the trucks. He even insisted I take his personal truck for a drive that was equipped with his improvements and modifications to date. I don't remember exactly why, (probably just different inventory) but I slowly shifted my business to others a few years later, and then sadly noticed his reputation slowly going downhill. I understand those who had serious problems with him have little sympathy at this time, but know that early on his business was one of the best of it's kind. RIP Patrick.
