1952-59 Ford Patriot headers

Has anyone used these? my car has some bogus home made exhaust on it that has about 300 leaks. Was thinking about fixing that issue pretty soon. I can't really find any other headers for the 223. I just wanna make sure they aren't garbage before i buy em.

I'm confused! It says they fit 54 to 56 L6 engines and then it says it fits flathead sixes!! I think they should be for ohv sixes.

 

I have a pair of hugger headers that I bought from Patriot for my 351W and though they would make a great fit on the engine, it doesn't work with the width of the engine in my 54 car so I can't tell you how they really work. I can tell you that the craftsmanship is good.

 

That has to be a typo error last year for the flathead was 1951,I would call Summit to confirm, also the 215 OHV was only 1952-53.

 

It says they only fit the truck, would there be any clearance concerns in a car?
