The carb has been re-jetted back to standard operation.... Other than no "Oomph", what would be the ramifications of removing the impeller on a Paxton SN-60. Objective is to leave the mechanics in place and run unsupercharged.

  2. Umm, the ramifications would be lameness.

  3. Ramifications might be extreme piss-taking on The HAMB. Beyond that it would be like having a vast plenum chamber.

For testing purposes you can take off the drive belt and the hose from the blower. If you mean permanently take everything off including switches, electric fuel pump, brackets, pulleys, hoses and carb top and send it to me.

Taking out the impeller would be a bad idea. The blower would still be too big a restriction. Just disconnect or take it off.

I toasted a modified McCulloch I had on a 283, I just took the thing off and set it aside to play with later. All the blower drive stuff comes off easy too.

    Why not do that?

  6. I could speculate...

  7. If you don't want a blower I'll trade you a tripower or dual quad set up to replace it. PM if your interested.

  8. I'm in VA like you. So I can bring it to you.
