I love this thread, its a great place to put junk laying around the yard or stuff you need to get rid of but feel bad scraping, also to get odds and ends for a project. Ok yeah it got a little of base of what it was supposed to be, but who cares its still helping everybody out. All the people complaining about it is useless, if you dont like the way it is then dont be a part of it.

 

I have a Ford 260 out of a '63 Fairlane that is up for grabs in the Oklahoma City area. A friend took it out of his car to put a 351 in for his grandson. The car ran fine but the 16 year old wanted more power. He kept the 4 barrel intake, the distributor and timing chain cover but the remainder of the engine is intact and has been stored inside my shop out of the weather. The first one who PMs me gets it, you have to pick it up at my shop a couple miles east of Tinker. I can help load it.

Two 55 Desoto powerflite transmissions... prolly same as Plymouth Chrysler 1954 - 1957... Good condition but you pick up in Stow Mass. PM me but I will be at Hershey Oct 7 - 10 and they go to the "yard" Oct 14.

also anyone else have any other bucket style headlights, or carb scoops/hats/filters for 3 holley 94's?

I've got a 75 Chev truck 454 ci builder with a turbo 400. Comes with all the brackets, pulleys and exhaust manifolds. I got it for free and i'd like to put it in the hands of someone who could use it.

Just to clarify, no truck, motor and trans only, both are builders, stored inside.
I could use the room folks...

I have a '57 Chevy 3-piece front bumper. Some dents, some rust would make a ratty driver or a good core. Has most of the mounting brackets. Free to whoever gets it out of the weeds next to my garage in West Hartford CT.

Up for grabs again is a Chevy 216 with 3 speed trans...all functioning. FREE to anyone who wants to come pick it up before next Friday (10-30-09) here in North Jersey. PLEASE...someone...TAKE IT! The no-street-parking ordinance is about to kick in next weekend, and I need the space in my driveway.

If anyone has a functioning carburetor 500-600 CFM, I'd like to get my grimy mitts on it, too.
