I'm not trying to make light of my situation or kill myself or anyone else , but this is a setup used for about 35 yrs by "Total Performance". But i know what you're saying "if you want to "abuse" it(LOL) Do it right", But I do think if i drive it normally the repair will do nicely with no troubles. But this is coming from a guy who made a radiator repair with pepper 5 yrs ago & and is still running it & ran with a sidewall plug in my tire for 8 yrs!!lol JimV
