PCV to 21 stud qun...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by rat bastad, May 17, 2012.

  1. Hey guys I've doe this before on my 8BA, but how would you do this on a 37 21 stud that has the breather at the bottom front of the pan? She's a bit fumey with fumes exiting the front pan vent and the rear oil filler cap.

My plan is to tap into the bottom of the PM7 into the plenum at 2 equal points, add the hose and add the PCV valve under the intake.

But I'm not sure if I need to block the front vent on the pan, or the rear oil cap, or both or even the tube in the valley that comes up from the crankcase?

Has anyone done this on a 21 stud? How did ya'all go about it and how did it work?

    Thanx in advance...

hello, saw your car in another post - nice ride! one concern that i would have with a pcv in that 21 stud engine is the rear main seal. if it still is a slinger, i think that you will suck in clutch dust and other debris. JMHO
