PCV Valve Question???

I want to put a pcv valve set up on my 59a flathead,i checked out some of the posts.Of the ones i have seen it shows tapping into the "pipe"in the front of the engine to evacuate from the bottom.My question is on my engine the pipe vents to the outside.So if i tapped into it all i would be doing in sucking air from outside ?

Don't know about flatheads, but the new issue of OSR shows, How to vent an engine originally, equipt with a draft tube. They removed the draft tube and used a rubber grommet as a plug and mount for the pcv.
