Pearl vinyl help?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Miss Jaycee, Jun 5, 2006.

  1. Hey guys, I've just started my own custom trim business in the uk & I'm having a hell of time trying to find a supplier for pearl vinyl. There are a few trimmers in the uk who use it but none of them will help out with suppliers info (not surprisingly I guess as I plan on providing them with some serious compe***ion).
If anyone out there knows where I can get hold of some it would be a really big help.
    Thanks
    Miss Jaycee

One brand name for sparkle vinyl is Naugahyde "Zodiac".

  6. Thanks for that but I've managed to get a supplier in england for naugahydes metalflake vinyl. I cant find anyone who can get pearl vinyl over here. I think if anyone over there knows who makes it they could make a bomb selling it to european trimmers as most of those I know are desperate to get it.

I've been looking for the same here in the USA. A few months back I saw I think it was a black coupe here on the HAMB maybe in the detroit area that had pearl vinyl with black vinyl interior...anyone remember that?

I've never seen pearl vinyl. I ***umed you were referring to the metalflake stuff. I'm curious now, so if anyone finds a link online, point me to it.

  11. I just picked up some white Zodiac (sparkle) at a chain called Han**** fabrics... They also had some metallic stuff that kinda looked like subdued, colored versions of the NASA blankets with leather grain stamped in them.

  15. Thanks for the info everyone, you've all been a great help. I found a couple of companies who have what I'm after........
Just need to persuade one of them to ship overseas.

  18. Cheers for the link it looks like they have what I want so I'll send off for a sample. Difficult to be sure on the computer screen.
I did try to contact fat luckys several months ago with the same question but didn't get a reply as I'm sure he must be really busy.
