Prince Bira's ERA, there are two others here on the East Coast, might see them at Lime Rock on Labor Day.

Great photos! Thank you for posting them..............but I have an observation I must make. Have the event directors opened the door to the end of Pebble Beach as it has been known to be for years? It WAS a Pre WWII event with the best of the best on display, it looks like it was overun with fifties factory show cars. What is next Cameros and Mustangs? I still want to attend the meet before I kick off, but this year sure has a different look. Was the spectator crowd up or down this year?

  21. The Motorama cars were a special display & not eligible for any awards, the quality of the stuff there is still stellar, don't worry :D

Did Leno have any Dusenbergs there?

Having been there and a participant a couple times, let me say that the world is certainly more than pre-war cars. The significance and style that continued well past is being represented at it's very best. You need to be amazingly focused, open-minded, a true enthusiast, and exhibit craftsmanship that most only dream of. Even then it may not be enough. As far back as 91, my 1st visit, there were plenty of post-war cars in attendence. If there's a Camaro there it will no doubt represent the best the marque has to offer.

    KICK ASS..!

Thing I like most is the way they embrace OLD RACE CARS.

All kinds of Old Race Cars.

Way cool - thanks for link.
