Great pics Dave as usual. Thank you very much, from all us poor folk.

  3. The Firebird's you mean?

We were watching one guy driving #3 on Saturday, it has NO controls other than a joystick....He looked pretty nervous piloting this priceless car round the show field I can tell ya!

    Great pics..

The Alfa 8C and the Talbot are two of the most beautiful THINGS ever..cars..planes..buidlings..whatever.
I have had a photo of a Talbot Figoni et Falaschi on the wall above my computer for many years..

    Thanks..

  8. We saw the Talbot parked on the road a few miles away when we were leaving, with seagull crap all over the hood....so they ain't all trailer queens!

Very nice, enjoyed looking at your pictures.

Did you happen to take any pictures of the dashboard in the Dreamliner?

  10. Most interesting picture is Jay Leno. I've seen him at several car shows, especialy at Woodley Park and he allways wears a denim shirt and blue jeans, and NEVER combs his hair. Is a real down to earth guy, just be carefull trying to take his picture.

I was there as well.. Couldn't believe the amount of v-16s that showed up. Kinda gloomy all weekend, but was well worth it. A lot of the cars aren't trailer queens, on Friday morning we saw a 56-57 testarossa cruising down HWY 1 from Watsonville towards Moss Landing, then later saw it in the display at the Monterey Historics.

Thanks for the great pics of our car in Saturday's group. It was our first time as entrants at Pebble and it was a bit stressful but fun. It's great to see some of the better concours events now embracing special postwar and custom cars.

Cool, I love that tank car, it gets my all excited like the futurliner...maybe a little more. He is just another car guy, like the rest of us.

I'll post pics if there is interest (restoration / show) and details this weekend (I'm headed home from B'ville right now) -- but it was a great year at Pebble Beach for us. Jon's Alfa 8C won Best of Show and like five other awards. Greg's ERA "Romulus" won as well. Both are incredibly cool cars it was great to be associated with.

...Just another car guy making $31 million a year :)

  17. Which was your car?

  18. Nice pics. I've not seen many of those and some I can't identify. That show has never failed to provide an eye-opening selection of stuff IMO. I see Joe Bortz brought the Biscayne and the Wildcat. Neat stuff.

  19. That car that appears to be a "Finch Limited"has me intrigued, I've seen plcs of a "Pungs-Finch",but never a "Finch". Anyone know any history? Thanks, D.Finch.:D
