i'm only going to stuff that's free (the tour on Thursday) or if i can sneak in or otherwise crash the party

 

You know I'm the same way. I get to go to the show for free cause my buddy has his car in it. I am paying to go to the races Saturday, though. Love that ****. And if you pay in advance it's only $65 as opposed to $85 at the door! I hope somebody worthy is getting all the cash for these events, cause the prices are super steep.

Do you have any info on the Carmel Concours? I plan to go later today just to see what I can see.

 

There isn't a Concours in Carmel today as far as I am aware....there's the Italian one Friday, the Tour Thursday & Pebble Beach itself is Sunday.

I heard about the Concours on the Avenue last year. It is a new event and I don't know too much first hand...yet. It does show on the Carmel-by the Sea website but I cannot tell if you need tickets or not. An outfit called Motorclub Events pops up when you click on the Carmel website. Today is supposed to be "multi-marque".

 

You dont need tickets. Just walk into downtown Carmel. Very good show.

there is a Ferrari group meet up at the Baja on Thursday night. Dont know how big the turn out is going to be. Informal thing.

I'll be at PB on Sunday. Look for me.. tall fooker, with a tall chick. We usually get there early and bug out early.
