  4. Awesome RPU Peck.

Just read through the entire build thread again. Everything you have done is spot on!

I love how the 1932 rad shell fits. Could you tell us more about your rad choice:
How tall is the radiator in the centre?
How much did you need to notch the 32 shell to get that perfect fit?

    Awesome looking Hot Rod!

How many cans of spray paint did you use. I had a older woman ask me when i painted her car to be sure to keep the brush marks and hairs out of her paint job. I told I would use a new brush on her car. Frank

I bought a can of spray paint for the first time in several years last week.......that’s going to be what I use to call a high dollar paint job when you get done. Haha

Looking good. Another case of spray cans and you will be done.

  14. so... any chance you could tell us what radiator you bought?

I need one and like the height of the one you chose.

50BE6549-AE43-49D1-B754-A43517633C8B.png Champion radiator for 28-29 Model A Chevy motor.

  17. Awesome Radiator. I had one of their 3 row Model A rads in a previous car and it had no problem cooling a warmed over sbc in the desert heat through slow traffic!

I will gladly buy another for this car now that I know it will fit inside a 1932 rad shell and that it will allow the height of the shell to be low enough to line up with the hood.

    Good choice Peck!

@pecker head Great build, thanks for sharing.
Did you narrow the rear end from the 63 f100 or keep it stock?

  24. Got to see this super cool RPU in person at the INVASION! You nailed the proportions, and I love the simplicity of it all.

  26. P H question regarding your choice of that Champion radiator. I looked on line and see that there are 2 Champions with different numbers, both in CA. I assume you got yours through Leadfoot as they have more listings for our applications. Can you confirm this as I n eed to get a shorter unit for my A project.

I love watching this one come back from the discarded pile. My Dad has 29 RPU that has been sitting for the last 60 years as the stable mate to the Medley coupe. Your car has given me inspiration and motivation. This has given me that little extra push that was needed. Thanks... and keep on keepin on!

Hauled a little bit , and lower bed sides were hitting the springs, so I had to trim a bit off. Rides great now.
