Completely different vehicle now, wished I’d done a year ago.

 

How does it drive now? Dropped Steering Arms also create problems they are shorter and you need to check Ackerman.

 

I finally got around to putting a die on these reproductions pedal pads I got cheap at a swap meet, they fit now.

 

I added this interior light , under the dash. It’s operated by a toggle switch that I installed a long time ago, knowing I was going to use this light. I bought light at Arlington Tx swap meet 16-18 years ago.

 

Love those smiles...everybody looks happy with the ole hot rod...

The upper shock mounts I made just didn’t work out, so I replaced with some CHINA BILL shock tabs on top of crossmember, the other side broke last year , I patched up, when passengers side broke it was time for a change.

 

While I had bed off I trimmed the ends of the subrails that stuck out too far. They were definitely an eye sore.

 

I wasn’t going to say anything but now that you pointed it out.

 

After 3 years of driving, I finally hooked up the high beams, high beam indicator, and park lights. Bottom pic headlights are not on , Texas sun shining in them.

 

Finally started building TONNEAU COVER.

 

Making it look easy.

I wouldn't have thought to do it that way where it's supported by the bed floor, that's a neat idea. Thanks for sharing! It looks great!

No, eye bolts for strapping ice chest down. But that’s a excellent idea.
