I have a question on your seat shells..what are the dimensions ? i might want to use one for the pedal car im doing. Also the cost on one of the seat shells. the ones im referring to are the ones in the pics you posted earlier in the page. Thnx in advance.

1938 Steelcraft Pontiac with some tweaks. I removed the grill, axles, pedal assembly, etc. I kept all parts!
    Aluminum frame
    Flathead piston diff.
    Dropped "I-beam" bushed front end
    Harbor Freight tires

Aluminum aircraft style seat (riveted together) with leather cover attached with Chicago screws
Aluminum riveted windshield frame with plexiglass "glass"
    Removeable leather top
    Aluminum riveted grill
Rear steering, which also activates the steering wheel Made from 3/8" and 1/4" rod with brass tag from old exhaust horn for hub cover.
"Shift lever" activates 1930s bicycle horn
Ebay headlamps, baby moons, and stoplamp lense.
    Aluminum "engine turned" dash

I wanted it to resemble a '40s hot rod with Model A-style chassis. It has a split 'bones and a transverse spring in front and wishbone/transverse spring in the rear.

It was fun to build and my soon to be 18 month old daughter loves it!

why do you say that? if it is for a girl i think pink is okay. i dont think he is doing any real harm to the value of it by painting it up and rechroming it. if it were in better shape i would agree with you but it looked pretty rough to start with.

Mikael, look at post #76. These are by far the best proportioned bodies I've seen.

I have been looking at this and it looks great and i have sent them an e-mail but i havent got an reply.
Do you know the measurement on the body i don`t want it to big.
Hope i get an answer from them and the body is the perfekt size.
Do you know anywhere else where i can get a body?

    Best regards Mikael

It's about 48" long from the front frame horns to the rear frame horns. Measuring from the bottom of the chassis (chassis and body are molded as one) to the top of the cowl is about 12". It's a true 1/3 scale body, so if you have a deuce roadster take a measurement, divide it by 3 and that's how this thing measures.

By the way, the windshield is nowhere near proportional. I won't be using it, but it's like $25 extra from the Bop Top guys.

You'll need to call them, and catch them at the right time. I wouldn't bother leaving a message either. They're fantastic at making stuff, but communication skills are lacking.

ill be posting pics soon of the stroller..i did one last year for my nephew in orange..it turns alot of heads and they get compliments left and right. I could have left it original ..but then again if that was the point, i would just have used the stroller we have now. Like it says in my garage.."Friends don't let friends drive stock".
