Speeds are up! http://www.vhra.co.uk/VHRA/News/Entries/2016/6/7_Pendine_Speeds_2016.html Oi Todd - coming next year???
Thanks for the coverage. I could not make it because of work but will try to get there next year. Looks fantastic.
A Steve Foster pic - check them out on FB , a little fiddling before my best run of the weekend 102 mph
Terrific photo's. Dab hand on an obviously top camera. Would make a really cool book, or at least a calendar. Cheers
Well, I failed in getting any photo up last night, ran out of time, will do tonight. But, I think a special mention must go to Julie and Rebecca for being the first ladies to become members of the 100mph Club
THANKS TO EVERYONE POSTING PHOTOS...I REALLY ENJOYED SEEING THEM ALL. LOT'S OF VERY KOOL HOT RODS......THESE GUYS AND GALS REALLY GET WHAT HOT RODS ARE ALL ABOUT....
I am blown away with the quantity & quality of period style HOT RODS! Looks like you guys in the UK get it. HRP
Get the grainy black and white filming going and the timewarp is complete. Outstanding event you people put on over there. Thanks for sharing it with us. Magnificent...
Great pics! Better than mine so here's some more video of all (150? 170?) cars coming back down the beach after the final run on the Sunday The second bit includes VHRA head honcho Neil Fretwell (The Wrong 'Un on here) taking the time to congratulate the drivers, after all the work he had done in putting the whole thing together, which I thought was a nice touch. Top effort Neil. The other guy at the end is Phil Wells (HotrodPhil on here) who was my co pilot for the 750 mile round trip getting there and back from the east coast. He'd given up his drive this year to work the clocks for everybody else. Thanks Phil.
Such a cool event with so many just right hot rods. You guys really put on a great event there. Thanks to all for sharing the pics and videos.
I'm confused. Where are all the sponsors? ......and product placement? Oh..wrong beach. Thanks for a having a non self congratulatory race. Here here!
holy crap thats cool thanks for the great coverage did they stop everything so Wayne Carini could run
Chiming in again here... Some incredible shots, cars and people. You guys have it down in spades. An understanding of real deal hot rodding.
