Penetrating Oil Tests

For the next rusted item, I'll be doing the acetone/atf mix; I had good results a cpl years ago, by putting an engine in a cut down plastic drum, and submerging it in kerosene. I left it there for several weeks, and agitated the kero every other day.

not trying to be a jerk, but diesel is kerosene, along with jet a and "fuel -oil" that heats my house.

It does work and its cheap, but is stinks too.
