Nothing wrong with being crotchety - coming from me it's a compliment. I'd definitely be up for a smoke and some whisk(e)y, as long as we can make it a scotch - smokier the better, if that's alright with you Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, I haven't decided yet) I don't actually work in my field of study, I'm a physicist according to some over-priced piece of paper in a filing cabinet somewhere, but I work as a software developer because I wanted to be able to pay my bills... something which is still a bit illusive unfortunately; though the 60 hours a week definitely still applies
