Pix are fine...info is true. "Old Cars" are a part of us who come to the H.A.M.B., and within the Culture around us. Others, like those digging on the Caddy just "get it" !

With all new model sports cars I can't tell and Porsche from a BMW, Toyota or Honda. They all look the same.

  4. That's a good lookin' Caddy. Gotta love the feeling when people look at your car vs. cookie cutter late model $85K cars. Older vehicles truely are rolling works of art.

Love the Caddy ! A cool older ride always stands out in the crowd of "store bought"

  7. What ding dong would buy a 4 door Porsche? That might be the silliest car being sold. It just screams KOOK!

Experienced that at the parts store today. The new stuff may be more efficient and some times faster, but they don't compare in the appeal catagory. Just ask the "new 'Vette guy" at the local hangout.:D

I think its because they had personality. All the newer cars look the same to me and look like they belong on the moon. When you are looking at old cars you can tell the differance between a ford or mercury or chevy or dodge or chrysler.

  12. I hate to admit it but I own an '09 Corolla. Friday I was at lunch and watched a woman and her 2 daughters walk up to my car. After trying to get the door open for about 30 seconds she looked real close at the interior, shook her head stepped back and then walked over to her silver Jetta parked about 4 spaces down.
Bet that would have never happened with my Plymouth.....LOL.
