I bought a couple American Automobile Digests, from December '22, and April '24. They are in lousy shape, but for $2 each, I couldn't resist. The coolest thing about them is the ads, and there are a lot of ads for performance products. The magazine must have been written for owners and employees of garages, so I thought it would be neat to show what a mechanic who wanted to soup up his T could have bought if the advertisers in this magazine were the only source he knew of. First get that engine making more power. I've heard of Rajo and Fronty heads, but not Roof. Now a better trans to handle the power That car will need more stopping power now. Better steering is next. And finally, a sleek, aerodynamic body. This is a '26 T at the Ford Piquette Plant Museum( my wife and I went in '15) with an aftermarket body. I don't know if it was a kit, or came ready to install on your chassis, but it looks similar to some of the bodies in the ads.
