Picked these up a few years back at a Gainesville flea market during a marathon roadtrip to Florida. Bought a whole stack of them, a lot of 1962 issues so I saved them for reference for an old school build. Who knew I'd pick up a 62 Belair years later... got a really good handle of early 60s time period but it does help to have those old rags around. Love that time period of the 50s and 60s, a lot of inovation back then, especially on the drag strip. Also have some pics of my buddy's homegrown 50 Ford, 30 year build and it's almost finished! Dale and I have made a lot of good memories wrenching on that old ride over the years. The most challenging part was laying out the scallops... lots of tape wasted and lots of Honey Turkey consumed! [emoji1787] The best part of all was Dale getting invited to Jack Walker's Cavalcade of Customs in KC back in February, we had a blast. Things like that just dont happen to a couple podunks from hillbilly land, we just love working on and driving old cars! 20190829_103759.jpeg 20190223_095842.jpeg 20190220_112218.jpeg 20190223_101623.jpeg 20190224_191124.jpeg
