I have a '39 5-window coupe that has been street rodded in the style of period late '50s. I am considering installing a tachometer. What make/model of tachs would have been available and used during that time period?

only thing to use is a stewert warner, all they had ack then was mechanical but the electronic looks almost identicle. late 50's to early 60's the "custom line of S/W came out, same gauge but ad the green stripe inside it.

Most common would be the SUN 90* sweep that used a sender for electric othrwise SW mechanical.
