Period Tool Kit

    I always try to carry some tools along. That way if I can't fix it maybe I can loan the tools to someone more mechanically talented and they can fix it.:eek:

    I have a smaller doctor's bag, just big enough for a few essentials and takes up very little space, something there isn't much of in a little hot rod

    Thanks HOTRODPRIMER & Mr48chev for the nice compliments. Inherited three of those Craftsman boxes when my step Dad p***ed. Picked the rattiest one to mod. Wanted the leather straps because I've always liked the early European sports cars. Went to a tanner to make the belts, he was a bit spendy. The lovely Mrs. 99 suggested the thrift store. Took about 10 minutes of searching the "tub O belts" to find two that matched.

    Paul there sure isn't a lot of room. I keep tools a fire extinguisher and spares in the bag so they don't float around.
