Event Coverage PF goes to KC and the Greaserama show--2011

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by povertyflats, Sep 4, 2011.

  1. STOP!!.......I can't take it anymore.......Screw the salads, I'm off to Kansas for some TRUE home-cookin'.....

I hope you have SOME idea how fortunate you are to still have those old mom&pop eateries. They disappeared from the landscape in this part of the country, long, long ago. What a time capsule!

  2. Right on dude....I made both the Goodguys & the Greaserama & the latter was the best as norm. Was great to see Rob pick up the Jaw Dropper tropy. Well deserved guy. Lot's of killer rides.....The STAFF people did a outstanding job.

I hated that I had to miss the show, but work has been pretty good about letting me off. When I need it, so I guess one weekend isn't so bad. It's great to hear that Rob Lee's lil car won the Los Punk Rods trophy. I think it went to a very deserving person. That little car may be simple looking, but with all the work that went into it, to say it is" unique" is an understatement.

You are right. Rob's car is mostly hand formed and fabricated. Quality metal work...old school...hammer, torch, welder, etc. Awesome!

Brent, I took this photo in Marysville the other day after visiting the NAPA store where you work (seen in the background). This sign is very cool.

I was cleaning the house and I heard wingnutz laughing so I went to see why and after I saw that avatar I punched wingnutz in the arm thinking he was on a naughty web site!

Then I realized why he was laughing when he showed me the cover of "Gold Chainer" magazine... cogratulations Poverty Flats!
