Are there problems with Pfishing on the forum? I posted a message with interest in 16" Hudson wheels and got 1 legitimate response and spoke to the fellow on the phone. I then got an email that said there was another HAMB message, but clicking on the HAMB link in the email, the message did not come up. Person said they had the 16" wheels and responded by email with a gmail address; neither the name given or the HAMB username is found when searching the forum. Person said via email that they did not appear on HAMB because they were new; a week later they still do not show up; there has been no further communication.
So, is this happening - a scam that people hack in somehow and send emails that there is a HAMB Forum response and say they have things to sell when they are not ***ociated with the HAMB at all?

  2. Yep, the best way is to have them PM you. But if you put a number or email in the add anybody can find it.
If you only want hambers then say in the ad to pm you.
That's not going to stop every scammer though.

    Yep... My only advice:

    1. Never buy anything from someone with no posts.
    2. Never pay with anything other than paypal...
