OHV set up on the 4, 16" wires (KH would be nice), trade the "spare well" fenders for smooth ones, not sure that I would even lower it. Just suggestions....

I posted a while back about wanting one someday, well someday came and here I am.
I got this as a body only and put a coupe chasis I had underneath it, just had to find a home for the coupe. I put a T spring in the rear, reversed eye in the front, found fenders, wires, and am just sorting out the motor. Great news is the brakes work pretty good and it came with doors. Lots of bodywork to go, but I'm gaining on it.

Your Touring car is beautiful, and I love the colors.

I have similar passengers to yours, and that's why the Tub and not the Roadster I traded for this. if or as you get doubles of stuff you don't need can you keep me in mind. My car needs alot of the little pieces and as you know they are hard to come by.

Some discussion above about the quality of repro rear body panels for 28/29 A phaetons. Is there only one manufacturer of that rear panel? If more than one, who makes the one closest to the real Henry?

Recently lunched the crank in the banger (see my avatar), so may be getting a 21-stud soon. Also may trade up to a '28/'29 phaeton body.

My dream tub would look like this except it'd have 15x7 and 14x6 peak-spoke '60s Torq Thrusts with pinstripe whitewalls, a '65 Vette FI 327 and 4-speed and the top would be white. :D

  21. Wow! that is one nice Knock Down Phaeton body, one problem though, I think the steering box is on the wrong side? What's the history on the body?

The body came to the US in the 60's I believe. Owned for years by Coy Thomas and then even longer by Bill Stiles. I bought it as a complete car a couple of years ago. It's just waiting it's turn for a make-over. It's a very nice tub, all in all. US chassis, pretty complete w/a top, fenders, hood, grille/shell and a lot of small parts etc.

Here's mine... got it for $200 also, but with an extra cowl and firewall... but I think I got a great deal! And here's something along the line of what I plan on doing with it... Long live the TUB!

    .........NEW STANCE.....
I pulled the model a suspension and dropped it down a bit with some wheels and tires
at all four corners. The new stance is about 2 1/2 lower
    what do you think?????

like it....if it would be mine the next step would be steel wheels and a chopped windshield.

Really curious which way you'll be heading.
