Phaeton PU

    Hello, I am newbie here and here is pic of my A, Its a phaeton cab with pickup bed. Needs to be lowered with some 16" wheels. But its a start.

    That thing looks great as is, but I could definitely see it with the changes you mentioned too. Very nice.

  10. t rear spring and reversing the eyes on the front will get you down a bit
    all bolt on stuff

    We could be cousins.

    I made a base for a seat out of an old pallet. I just picked up some old wooden folding chairs that I might fasten to the base. Not permanently but just to drive around on.

  19. Maybe find a stock seat riser or make something similar but shorter to keep you lower in the car. Some plywood and some webbing to make the bottom and back??

    I like the bigger wheels on the early style cars especially when they're banger powered. Just seems to fit. I have a set of 32's -18" and 34's -17" for my rpu project. I can't decide which to use.

    Thanks for all the great comments. This thing is a blast to drive.

    I finally got my offical tittle in the mail ! so its legit. I went ahead and order some doors for it.

    I been thinking about the bench seat, does anyone have any pics they can post?
