    Levittown here.

  7. If the Macungie Auksfest hasn't happened yet, that'd be a good start for parts, then Hershey in October :)

  8. Oh, and there is also a pretty big thread on PA HAMBers- you'll have to sift a bit, but you'll find the guys living close to you.

    Where are you in Philly?

Koz here. Check out the Wheels of Time. Also hook up with the Aces and Eights club guys who are centerered in the area. Somebody in that club knows everybody. Homemadehardtop57 on here is Prez at the moment.

Also, if you need anything in particular PM me and I can probably point you in the right direction.

    Welcome aboard.

Wow didn't expect so many replies so quickly. I actually live right outside of kutztown and was at Mcungie this past weekend admiring the cars. I used to live in Philly and went to school there but came up to the country for some relaxation.

I'm specifically looking for a grille for my 55 Plymouth plaza. I was told 54-56 plaza/ savoy/ suburban/ and belvedere grilles will fit. Also need the hood trim piece for just above the grille.

Also, what special considerations do our cars get during inspection? My car came from jersey which didn't require inspection and I'm scrambling to finish her up and meet code. I'm guessing I need working wipers and horn right? What about gauges? Are they required? The car was converted to 12v and therefore has a few electrical gremlins to sort out.

I suppose as a reward for helping answer these and making me feel so welcome I'll post a pic of my girl on another one of my toys. :)

And yes, she is a pinup model/ makeup/ hairstyler for shoots.

Where are you at?!?! Can I interest you in a case of beer to teach me the ways of old tie rods?!

If I can possibly get inspected by then I'll be there! My uncle is a local cable tv show host and will most likely cover it actually. Dick Craig, recognize the name?

As a fellow NE pa man and hamb'er I charge you with sending me a southwestern rust free grille! :)

  16. i dont kno if i reconize your uncles name, if your car isnt on the road yet by this weekend drive your daily driver over and meet some other dude. all the NJ goons are buds of mine, well till i moved so i dont see them as much these days.
so what grille am i lookin for? post a pic.

I don't drink anymore, but I'll gladly share any knowledge I have with you. Stop by the shop anytime and let me know what your interested in doing or bring what you need worked on. I'll PM you my cell #. I'm in the shop most days from 9:00 AM until I get too tired to work on my own stuff at night.

    Can't wait to meet up.

    I wish! A 67 c10, 75 Honda 500 twin, 71 road runner, 88 350 powered rx7, a lifted jeep, and some guns. :/

    Thank you sir!

I may just do that! I'm pretty damn close to inspection passing I believe. A couple long nights and I'm golden!

    Here's my blank canvas:

Here's what it should look like:

I believe it's actually three pieces that bolt together and a hood trim piece, actually need two windshield wiper arms too. Thank you sir!

Naw.... Long gone. They're in th process of building another strip center/mini mall there. Just what we needed.

We went for the last night there. It wasn't even that full for "Water World". Shame kids don't have any interest in this stuff anymore. Used to be a big deal for us. They just can't compete with the high quality experience a home system can.
