If Kerr is doing bumpers now then I wouldn't see much of a reason to go anywhere else. I have never been unhappy with their chrome or gold plating. My Pop uses Papago for faucets and cabinet handles but he's cheap and lives right up the road from them.

 

any updates? looking for a excellent job in east valley or close.

I had a couple of little bits and pieces done by Papago a couple of months ago and they came out very nice. I am tempted to take some bigger stuff into them now...

I'm not gonna waste your time telling you guys the whole story, but lets just say its not a very good idea to leave any one of a kind dragster headers with Papago.

 

Royal does several shop pickups in the east valley and delivers back there. Nobody does better pot metal and repair. I've used literally dozens all over the US and those that compare are double the price or strictly cha ching $$$$$$ pricing. I had my NOS 38 chevy grille halves estimated by sending to Advanced Plating and the estimate to strip, polish, and plate was 2500-2800. Royal did it with full polish inside the bars for $500. Taking my orig 36 ford there as we speak for the same treatment.

 

I just picked up my 10 spoke wheels from Fernando's. Mirror finish, very good pricing and great turn around time.

 

NOBODY does pot metal repair and plating better than Royal, have gotten him several customers from socal. Going to try Kerr on chroming my axle, Papago doesn't seem to be able to get it to stick.
Does Fernandos do chroming still ?

 

Papago is permanently closed. Hope no one had parts down there.
