I received a message from an independent film producer in Phoenix who is looking for a couple of cars to use in a movie he is shooting. The movie is set in 1958 so he needs a somewhat stock looking 58 or older and a hot rod that looks like a hot rod would have looked in 1958. When I told him I lived in Lake Havasu City, he asked if I knew of anyone in the Phoenix area that might be interested. Here is part of the message he sent me: I'm looking for two pre-1959 vehicles to be driven by their owners down an empty desert road at moderate speed. That's it! We hope to shoot this scene some time in the next two months, preferably near Phoenix, but we're willing to travel if it's more convenient to the car owners. If this sounds like something that might be fun for someone you know, please let me know and I'll contact you (or them) with specifics. Please see my website for more information about me. Best regards, Joe Gruberman writer/producer Lime Wrangler/Bronck's Park Productions www.limewrangler.com www.jgrub.com/bronckspark/
I forgot to include Joe's E-mail address. It is PapaJoe@limewrangler.com and he is good about getting back to you.
I have a 1930 model A coupe on 32 rails that has chrome reverse wheels and white walls. I have no problem coming up to phoenix or lake havasue for the shoot. I will send him an e-mail and a picture of the car. I am at work right now, when I get home I will try to post a picture of the car. I also have access to two 55 fords one all restored and one kind of a resto custom.
