Are you sure that's a 55 Olds? Looks like a 57 grill/bumper and I can see the 3 piece back window that was only used on the 57 Olds and Buicks but it does appear to have 55/56 headlights. Whatever it was, there was a lot of work put into it and I'd like to see some photos of it when it was completed, if it ever was.
I enlarged the photo a bit to get a better look. Does anybody have more photos of this car it really looks great in these photos. I would love to see how it was finished...
You're right. I never noticed the 57-only three piece rear window. I guess the earlier headlights threw me.
Think its a '55 body with a 57 Top (possibly only the rear section) grafted on. Do you have any more photos of it Anthony?
The only 57 piece on the car shown is the rear glass. Look at the 1/4 window on a stock 57 post car. Look at the hood and grille on a 55 olds. Its a 55. Clear as day.
There definitely needs to be a no holds barred cage match between Rik and Ray Soff to get Ray to show all the pics he has! Its a win/win situation. Riks are already on the net!
Any Advanced Design trucks from back in the day? I know about the R&C Dream Truck, but have seen very few customized chevy trucks other than the many modern ones.
