A freidn of mine owns this '57 chevy and wants to knwo what it would lood like chopped about 3". I knwo some of you folks on here can do it on photoshop better than I ever could. so please, if you would...
I did some extra photo choppin on the truck. Chop'd slam'd, d'chromed, section'd (around the belt line) and some other stuff........ Happy Trails, Mick
I like the proportion of that truck unchopped. Just seems right. Tell him to spend the money on some black steelies, spiders, rings, and wide whites. That'd really give it the look.

I like those trucks tucked & trimmed ever so subtely...it's really alot of work...but I think the end result looks killer...kinda like Smokey's old "7/8 scale" Chevelle! See if you can spot the mods!
[ QUOTE ] See if you can spot the mods! [/ QUOTE ] mild chop as well as a mild section around the beltline AND right above the fender. Thats all I see.
Hood and cowl are 'pancaked'as well. These truck's end up looking fat if you chop too much. Taller tire's, and the 'on the the freakin' ground' stance will help. Hack your look isbest, lay rocker's, if you would please and this classic hauler be cooler yet.
You guys are good! I like the way those trucks look with the real mild chop, double sectioning and shortened bed. I'd also narrow the body maybe an inch to go with it all, but you can't see that in a side shot! Drop a mean 292 in it and GO!
Look's like the rear axle need's to be centered in the wheel housing......before the photo-chop began.
