Hey, I was lookin' through one of the other threads and admiring the work you guys did. Can you guys do some of the same stuff to mine in the attached pic? Justice
Justice, I'm no Photoshopper, but I'll give you some unwanted advice. The bumpers have got to be chromed, that color coded' BS of the 80s and 90s is awful. I know, I speak from experience having had painted bumpers on my '54 because of lack of money. The cheesy rectangular turn signals are just plain bad. The grill kinda looks like it's floating in space, it needs to be shrouded somehow. I think the ideal thing for the front end might be a '53 Chevy grille surround molded in. The grille itself is kinda cool, what is it anyhow? The wheels ****, ****, ****. They're nowhereseville man. They're **** wheels, uncool to the max. Hubcaps is what your baby needs. Just a little bit of work will have your torpedo back looking like the sinister kerb krawler she really is under those Wal Mart clothes. No joke man, what was once good looking will always remain good looking, look at the little mags. It's when people mess up and mix styles that things get ugly.....fast. Good luck.
Oh **** I just noticed those horrible rear view mirrors, those things have got to be chucked in the trashcan pronto.

Justice [/ QUOTE ] Justice, theres lots of different threads and different cars requesting different things. What did you have in mind that youd like to see done on your car? different paint, wheels, lowered, chopped? If theres no direction, I'll just be forced to put some jet engines frenched into the quarter panels.
Wheres Justice in this world?! I gave ya fair warning man, if I didnt get word back youd get frenched jets on your car. "beep beep...landing" lol
THAT'S IT----THAT'S IT!!!!! Now I know exactly what I want to do with it. Chewbaca is gonna love this. Could you poke a little hole in the back for R2-D2 to sit in????????? Justice
I would love to get some chrome for the front. However, I am not sure where to even begin looking for front chrome. The only sources I have found are the "one-off" custom guys. Their prices are rediculous. The wheels are soon to be hidden behind some s/s solid discs. The rest of the stuff, including the chrome, is gonna require body and paint work, so it will probably wait until winter gets here. I hate to miss out on cruising weather. Justice
Well, I am thinking about different wheels (solid discs), removing the visor, and putting some chrome back on the front. Justice
Surf Monkey has got the right idea (as does Nads). Loose the visor and dummies at your own descretion. Nice car though.
Surf Monkey nailed the look pefectly! At the very least, you haveta start by getting rid of the wheels...every journey...one small step...etc.
