    about damn time you post these.. i cant belive you didnt get mugged going that far into the park to get the pic of the train station.. there suppose to be fixing that up soon so they say.. pics look sweet
     
  4. Oh yeah, those are great shots, I can't wait to see the ones the studio guys have for us.

    I knew the wagon would look great in front of the old airstream.

    Fun stuff.

    Is that building where they shot Shawshank Redemption? Cool pics for sure...

    Why I know these things I don't know-

    That building is the old Detroit train station. Closed in the early 80's, it's now a haven for crack addicts on the upper floors.

    There was talk of it being refurbished and used as the new headquarters for the Detroit police Department, but after their initial evealuation, they decided it would be too costly. Last I heard, it was set for demolition...

    The building used in Shawshank Redemption was an old prison in Ohio, which has since been demolished. (I have the collectors edition DVD, it's in the "extras" :)

    This girl i know from gross point..her mom works for the city and is trying like hell to get the building restored she is the one who proposed the police using it. It will be a damn shame if they knock it down its so bad *** looking. i allways wanted to go in but never had a gun on me:rolleyes: buildings like that all over Detroit its a damn shame.
