So I was tired of working away at my project with a vision in my head of what it would be like when I was done. I made a photoshop picture from a picture I found on the net. I am still searching for some bed pictures to complete it. I'll look more at lunch time tomorrow.

Awesome! The lines of the door windows and pillars are very nice.

That looks great! It's nice to have more than a mental pic for inspiration. Is that the final color?

Mine is going to be two tone black on top and white on the bottom like the 58-9 trucks came. That was the best picture I could find to use for a little photo shop fun.

I am finished with everything I had to make from scratch at this point. Started doing body work on the cab last night and hope to have it in finish primer before too long. I am sick of welding at this point. Unfotunatly my garage is 4" too short to mate the cab and ch***is so I will get the interior in and cab all sealed up before I put it on the ch***is. Thats 4" too short sitting on the rotors with no tires so there is no way to make it work. I do not want to be out in the cold trying to put everything together. I'll just take it over to my brothers auto body shop and use the lift to set it on the ch***is it should go pretty quickly from that point on. April 15th is my have to be finished date because I have to go get my 5th wheel camper out of storage then.

I don't sleep much. I am a plant controller and I have two kids. My wife says I have attention deficit disorder because I can't sit still. I only sleep about 4 hours a night. Been that way for years. I work a lot from 8pm after the kids go to bed till 12 or 1 am. Back up at 5 and head to work. I am on an accelerated time frame since the wife did not want to wait to get the new camper. She stays off my case about the amount of time spent on the truck since she created the time frame.

  9. I stored mine at my moms for a bit. 7' door.
I know the rolling on rotors story first hand.
My garage has an 8' door or I might not be building this.

I got the stupid 7' doors also. I did not realize they were that short when they built my house or I would have had them change it. If I would change it the most I would gain is 6" and that would involve messing with brick work and I am not about to do that. It would fit once it was inside

  11. Kind of like the guy that built a boat in his ba*****t. :D
