What a shame to even post this, done on my old "garage only" 2.0 mp junk, wish I had my 8.0 SLR but what are ya gonna do...opportunity knocks.

My ex's 61 Club sedan in a train yard.

On the way to Dewey this year. Taken by Haymaker here on the board. Damned hard to take your own 'in the wind" shots. lol

If I win I promise to let him read the book. Really!

  5. I love this pic and I hope you don't mind if I save it,but C9 made a comment about pic's without the whole car aren't acceptable. That's too bad cause there are some great detail pic's out there!

Here is a picture my wife and I took to celebrate our engagement.

We had a 30 x 40 print made for the wedding.... pulled in lots of compliments! The bigger the image gets, the more clear our faces are.

    Enjoy!

    C9, please clarify...

One picture only? Winning photo goes to the owner of the car or the person who creatively took the picture?? I have pictures that I took of cars, but don't know who the car belongs to.

    I missed that...

I'm going to erase it then....

So... full pictures of cars then?

  16. A bit unclear on that was I?

One entry per person, the thinking was to feature the car and if I confused you, I'm sorry....;)

  18. One pic per HAMBer,or one pic per car? Cause I posted a few HAMBers cars.

  19. Archives will be fine, just be careful it hasn't been posted too many times.

I'm guilty of that to an extent, but sometimes you gotta re-use a photo in answer to a question.

    (Edited for eligibility...)

'66 Chrysler 300. Lost Hills, CA. Stopped on the way to Paso back in '05 becuase it's so desolate and spooky with all those derricks pumping away without a single person or building in sight.

  21. Back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth and I was in high school, they used to give a quiz that started: please read the entire quiz before filling it out. At the bottom of the page it said: do not fill in the blanks. Just sign at the top and hand it in. You'd be surprised how many failed that one. Must have been a bunch of you people. ha ha ha

Now that all my reading errors have been clarified (hooked on phonics didn't work for me)... one more question... shouldn't these be HAMB friendly cars, or does it matter?

Okay, here's my official entry then...

Bad Bob's Merc, at The Old Crow Open house looking out of Hollywood Hot Rods shop. I think the car is pointed south, the street was sloped from north to south and it was like 200-degrees F outside. :D

    L.A. Urban scenery...
