My 32 roadster project sat outside my parents place. Typical British clouds behind it:)

Well, it's not the "Cozy Cone" but I had to stop and snap some pics. Horse Cave KY, just north of BG. Took em on the way home from the HHR.

^^^^^ Look past the car to see the road we took to get to this point ^^^^^

This picture of our Deuce roadster was taken on old Route 66 on our way back from the LA Roadster Show in late June of 2005. We had filled up with gas at Needles, California just after noon and it was 112 degrees in the shade! It turned out that the gas was worse than cat piss and it pinged like crazy on our way to Oatman, Arizona on this nasty, narrow old section of Route 66 that was abandoned in 1953. We were the only fools out there that day and I was scared we were going to blow it up, so we stopped and took a few pictures and cooked in the heat. It must have been about 115+ degrees when I took this picture and I'll never forget that drive to Oatman (or was it Hell?) on old Route 66.

If you ever plan to motor west,
travel my way, take the highway that is best.
Get your kicks on Route Sixty-Six.
It winds from Chicago to LA,
more than two thousand miles all the way.
Get your kicks on Route Sixty-Six.
Now you go through Saint Looey
    Joplin, Missouri,
and Oklahoma City is mighty pretty.
    You see Amarillo,
    Gallup, New Mexico,
    Flagstaff, Arizona.
    Don`t forget Winona,
    Kingman, Barstow, San Bernandino.
Won`t you get hip to this timely tip:
when you make that California trip
Get your kicks on Route Sixty-Six.

I can only assume you are sick of the belly tank silohuette pic I've posted before, so I will try another as motivation for the up coming Speed Week.

Here is one of the my son's "the fiver" (RegularJD's ride, and Greezy's 40.).
I believe Troy (Greezy) took this one. Too many to recall that year.
