Thanks so much DSmoke and 29Roadster Man! By coincidence - Ill be at events in both of your parts of the country in the next few weeks. This weekend- the Swindlers Run north of Seattle and mid October in Westminster, MD for Jalopyrama.

Thanks El Hueso! For those of you new to one of my coverage threads, I sometimes show more than one version of the same picture - color and b&w versions for instance.

 

Is anyone else having trouble viewing the photos? All I have is a box with IMG in it. I can see the picture in the second post but that is the only one showing up for me..

 

Except for the second one, they are all linked in from my PBase site. Sometimes it is slow. Please try to refresh your browser. It also might have redirects blocked. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for looking.

I live in a semi rural area with not the greatest internet - so it happens to me too.

Outstanding photo's as always, looks like the blown Packard 8 has a belt driver blower and some very nice manifold work too

That appears to be a blower not turbo but great shot either way

 

Thanks D.N.D. and Tim - you are both correct. My brain locks up sometimes, and like the belt drive on this engine, sometimes slips if I rev it too much.

Here is a project that looked pretty much the same as it did last year, though I did not get a usable picture of it last year. 51 Plymouth with rear fenders, tailights, etc. from a 53 or 54 DeSoto.
