Event Coverage Photos from the 2017 Hot Rod Dirt Drags

I finally had the chance to go to the Dirt Drags for my first time. Like the other vintage racing event put on by Mike Nichols and the crew from Nicks Garage, the Hot Rod Hill Climb, it was a blast and very well organized. An added bonus and surprise is that Mike and his girlfriend Amy - who is well known for being the flag at both events, got married at the beginning of the event on Saturday. I am going to try to fill this up pretty quickly, at least for the actual pictures of cars running which I will not spend too much time editing. Thanks John(j3harleys). There will be quite a bit more of that type of thing in this thread - I think it works well with these cars.

For those of you who were not there, the event is held at a place that besides having a suitable dirt strip, also has a still in business working drive in and motel. You can watch the movies from your room and the sound is piped in. Saturday night they were showing, appropriately enough, American Graffiti and Cars.
