whew... it's been a hard day at work. time to go home. I have looked at 4400 thumbnails over the last few days to pick out these photos. did it all at work.

not screwing off... I just don't have much to do.

I love looking at these old pics, things were so much cooler in the old days.

Overland, note the logo on the hood, unique to this car. [IMG]

Nice Model T Ford, note the modified turtle deck, it has a raised section betweed the frame and original turtle for more storage space. First one I've ever seen. thanks for postin all the photos![IMG]

While MrModelT keeps us in suspense and works on his killer quiz (please: no more than 10 cars, ok?), here's an early mystery car for fun.

I do have a quiz in the works (work has been a bit on the busy side) and plan to have it up this weekend...hopefully tonight or tomorrow. This quiz will have fewer cars and hopefully be a little easier than the ones I am known for in order to help soliciting more participation......don't wanna get stuck with the "Hard-ass Quizmaster" reputation now do I? :D

...Funny...I find it harder finding more recognizable cars for these thing than the really weird stuff that only I, Twin-6 and T-Head would know.

Anyway, STAY TUNED FOR THIS WEEKS "MYSTERY QUIZ"......COMING SOON TO A POST NEAR YOU!

Once again, it's time to play....
    GUESS THAT "MYSTERY RIDE"!

That's right folks! It's not quite that time of the week, but as they say "better late than never". On that note, let's get going!

This week's quiz will feature 4 cars, all decidedly more common than the more odd-ball cars I usually post. I am hoping for more players this week, so don't be shy...play along!

I sure you all know the drill as far as submitting answers, but in case you don't or are new to the quiz here goes:

To submit you answers to the quiz, send them to me in a PM. All submissions must be received by 11:00pm Friday (Oct 8th) to be eligible!

Now that all that "mumbo-jumbo" is out of the way, the rest is up to you!

...Without any more suspense, this weeks "Mystery Rides":

  25. I don't know where this shot is from, but it sure does remind me of Griffith Park where the observatory sits today. Thanks for your mega-posts 49RatFink.

    Show off.:p

OK smarty pants, can you identify the two touring models in this photo? This is a beach meeting somewhere in the UK.
