    I thought I should contribute to this great thread. Here's one from my collection. Montpelier & Wells River RR (VT) a 38 mile railroad incorporated in 1877, bankrupt by 1913. They must've spent all their money on that fancy rail car, is it a Ford?

    This is my Grandfathers Auto Repair Shop in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho in 1938.

    The Model A and the homemade tractor are still in the family.

    That's very cool that you have the picture and the vehicles. Not to doubt you, but are you sure that's a Model A? The bumper looks right, but it has disc wheels with demountable rims.

    Yes, they of the (eventual) Chrysler V8 + Jensen, but post WW2, of course.

    Gable posed with Jensen/Fords, but, he never owned one (contrary to some reports).

    Possibly 1912 or so Hupmobile. The headlights on their cars were often very high up like that.---but just a guess.
