Looks like a '33 Olds to me. Here's some '33 Oldsmobiles being transported.

One of Frank Kurtis' earliest custom efforts was this boattail speedster based on an Essex frame. It was powered by an Oldsmobile engine, the grille was from a Cadillac.

An Oldsmobile-engined boattail speedster built by Kurtis in 1933. The body was hand built, and the fenders were rescued from a dump.

If you look through too many photos long enough, very strange things happen. TH dug up the dog photo at left some time ago, but in the Bain collection at the LOC, the same dog appears elsewhere and now I think we know who "Mime" belonged to: GGB himself. This is not his Stutz; what is it?

This is great! My dad had this as a poster in his garage for years when I was a kid, but after years of welding/grinding/painting in the garage it finally got messed up and he got rid of it.... Does anybody have a high resolution of this so maybe I could blow it up some and print it for him to hang up again? He would get a kick out of it!!

Love this thread by the way...

I found this photo earlier when looking for something else at the Massachusetts DMV or Registry as they call it. The caption is the youngest registered driver.

It appears to be about a 1904-05 Peerless and he looks to be all of 10-12 years old. My how times have changed.....
