Yes, back to business. Locomobile made into a fine truck (shy dog extra).

Franklin, would you please stop Mugsey from humping Mother while the photographer is taking the photo?

Post 57 - I'd been wondering what those folks were waiting for at Pacheco Pass, in California. I think it might have been the fuel truck that started out years earlier (in low). How many dogs?

I know, it's been posted everywhere (but here). Too good not to include.

THANK YOU TWIN 6!!!!!!!! That is the Ira Vail Hudson that he raced in the 1919 INDY 500. He sold it to H.D.Carpenter in Philadelphia who used it on the street and local race tracks. If someone has a collection of Motor Trend, it is in the Letters to the Editor section in the 1940's, it was found on a used car lot. Cameron Peck bought it, then Lyndley Bothwell had it, Bill Harrah was the next caretaker. It sold in one of the auctions for $27,500. I have all the paper on the car from the Carpenter days. All I need are the proper PowerBall numbers to own it.

Now honestly, I don't think people have had this much fun since the hi-jinx of "Calendar Girls With Tools" thread (which got cancelled. The dead cow pic went too far, though, and I'm reporting you ALL to PETA (People FOR eating Tasty Animals) !!!

I believe this is a Biddle, made in Philadelphia, c.1918. This has an unusual feature - a windshield for the rumble seat passengers. And a dog.

If you've got tire trouble, you need the right Jack.

More stripped down rigs - a Parry on the left, made in Indianapolis, and a mystery on the right. Can't quite make out the script on the radiator, but maybe someone will recognize it.
