I'm about to embark on having my '60 Impala getting a facelift. I already have made a few decisions but could use some visual reinforcement from those who excel at Photoshop, which I, do not. Plans: Wide White Walls Lowered 2" front and back Pearl white paintjob with candy turquoise metalflake (large) on the side trim behind the "plane" the only thing I waver on is the top. It's a debate on if I go with a snowflake top or candy turquoise metalflake top. If someone could give me a comparison of the look I'm going for, I'd appreciate it. Here is the most recent pick of the car from the Indy World of Wheels this past weekend.
sorry I cant help with you with the photoshop, but your only going to lower it 2 inches? They can go wayyyyyy lower... you'll get used to 2 in. real quick, then it'll start looking like you did nothing at all! I'm sure if someone drops it right down, you'll warm to the idea the colors sound real cool though,, i'll be keeping an eye on this one.
well heres a quick one. sorry about the bubble top had to find a clearer picture. painted lowered and shaved
Yep, I know they go lower, but I don't want to slam it quite yet. I considered putting bags on it, but can't afford it....and it's low on my priority list. 2" is good for now....and is always subject to change. I'm pretty convinced of the white walls...the only thing on the bubble is what color to do the top so I am trying to get some comparison. It goes in for paint in 2-3 weeks and I'm pretty excited to have a decent paintjob on a vehicle for a change.
