wheres the pictures? Theres an issue of rod &custom awhile back that had a 55 or 56 packard in it that was amazing. I'll see if I can dig it out and tell you what issue it was.
The pictures are there but there is a bigass snowstorm going on mow. thats why the pics aren't too clear. LOL Billy

dude, i cant use photo shop but....just drop it ....leave the colors the way they are....or atleast dont do the flat black with red wheels thing. its really played out now .......maybe do a tube grill ...spinner caps or chrome smoothies....i need to find some tail lihts like those for my ford..those are next to impossible to find....does it have the rad chrome on the door panel like that one on ebay ???? that is soo cool lookin...bitchin car
Yup it has everything like that..I have already bought 57 caddy hubcaps with the bullets,im going to be geting the hood louverd and putting dummy spots,lake pipes that are going to be hooked. As for color scheme im leaving the white alone and doing the red HOK pagan gold I HOPE...everything goes well...
i dont know how good of a metal guy you are but the only thing i would maybe change would be the grill and front bumper ..or atleast bring the bottom lip of the hood straight across .rather than it have that curve up in the center .....l ...ya know its funny everyone uses the stuff off of a packard but hardly anyone starts with one ???? shoud be a nice mild custom though....keep us updated ......hell i am stoked to have another custom guy on here ...hahahaha

mild custom? it's a packard, cut it up. nobody else seems to have the balls to. Couldn't find that issue or R&C maybe someone else on here can tell ya which one it is. It was called the Scaribbean or something.

I was thinking paint her real nice in a more subdued two tone (with dark top to "lower' it visually a bit) and a healthy slam with some American Racing rims (or something else with a bit of a period look??) and that's it bro. Save the chop for another day, these cars are funky from the factory, just for god's sake lower that pig... and quick! Jerry
Wow RustNeverSleeps,that looks awesome..i like it alot but there is one problem i have, i dont think my car be slammed that low becuase i have the self leveling four way torsion bar system, And i was told its not easy to lower...Which sucks becuase it looks awesome slammed.....
I am playing around in photoshop and i cant figure out how to remove shadows. I chop the car and it leaves a shadow where the roof was. Also how do i change colors of the car so ya can still see the body lines.

[/ QUOTE ] Not sure what you mean by "leaves a shadow", but when I chop the top I lower the background and the sky with it, basically making the picture a little shorter than it was. To change color while preserving the shading and reflections in the paint is actually pretty easy. Just make a selection for the body color you want to change then apply a Hue/Saturation layer (Image>Adjust>Hue/Saturation), check the "colorize" box and just play with the sliders til you get the color you want! Hey kustom thanks for the kudos. Here's a variation that I dig a little more. I've got this total hang up for "salt flats" rims lately 'cuz I think they look all business! Darker blue grey makes it look a bit meaner too! I say you must find a way to slam it... even if you have to re-engineer the whole motherf**king car!

Not my best work but you get the idea. I like the 2 tone but I think, in stock form, it's a little over done.
